The All American Rejects - Move Along

There are really only three things an artist can do with each album they release. Continue to grow, stay the same, or regress. With Move Along, it pretty much keeps The All American Rejects in the same TRL-pop-punk-rock box that they debuted in.
A third of the way through the album, assuming you make it that far without falling asleep, or just turning it off, you start thinking "Didn't I just hear this song a couple tracks ago?!?". They all start to sound the same, and really, you have to truly be a dedicated fan of this sound, and band, to give them the time and patience to try and distinguish one from the other.
The second song, title track, and pretty much obligatory anti-suicide song "Move Along", stinks. IT's basically a poor man's version of "Adam's Song", striking no original cord, or really sounding much like an anti-suicide anthem.
I'd give the blow by blow on a few other songs, but what's the point? I'll keep it short and sweet, the album is average at best. And when it comes down to it, nothing sucks more than being the king of average mediocrity.
