Random Thoughts
Since it's been a relatively slow time in music news lately I figure I'll just post some random thoughts on a few artists....fun....
WTF is it with Fall Out Boy that annoys the shit out of me but yet I can't delete their record off my MP3 player? The damn thing isn't even that great. And what's up with the bassist, or whatever instrument Pete Wentz plays, writing pretty much all the lyrics? That's something else that pisses me off. If you are in a rock band and you're the singer, you should be writing at least half the stuff your spewing out of your mouth. But I guess they can get away with it because honestly, this band ain't too deep. Also, whats up with the long song titles? It's hard enough deciphering each FOB song from one another without having no help with a long, and pointless song title. I've notice Panic At The Disco does this along with My Chemical Romance. What's the deal? Are we supposed to piss our pants laughing at the title everytime we read it? (althought MCR's title "Do You Know What They Do To Guys Like Us In Prison?" always gives me a chuckle)
Why is it that even in print magazine, online music sites etc. Never give Little Brother the credit and props they deserve? The Minstrel Show is a great album that did fairly well commercially (MTV2 specifically) for the type of album it is. They are never going to push a staggering amount of units, but who gives a shit. I'm not saying a cover story is in order, although it would be nice, but at least a little article here or there would be good, to atleast put the word out.
If I didn't know any better I would say that Brandon Flowers had to have some relation to 50 Cent. But all bullshit aside it's pretty clear that FOB are jealous of what The Killers have done. Hot Fuss was a great, great record. While FOB have had some nice singles and that's about it. As for Panic At The Disco, I've been hesitant to put a review for them because of it being release quite a while ago. But fuck it, I'll write one soon enough for it. And yes it is good, not Killers good, but still good.

What a f@g, dude. You complain about Fall Out Boy and yet admit that you like them. They suck but you swallow for being a fan of theirs. Just be conten in the fact that you're EMO.
