On Paris Hilton...
There was a moment when I thought that maybe, because of her celebrity, that they were going a little overboard, but she is losing me. Now, it’s just ridiculous. It’s very odd. I went through identically the same thing. When I was a kid I got in trouble on a drug charge. They sentenced me, but the judge let me out of jail. It wasn’t the sheriff. Everything  was just crazy when that happened. They wanted to readmit me but they didn’t readmit me. But for her, she does have this, I am above the law kind of thing going on . She could have done those 22 days , came out and probably it would have been not bad for her. It would have been good publicity. But what does she do? She can’t handle 22 days , who knows what kind of deal they made with that sheriff. You know there had to be some kind of deal. The sheriff just isn’t going to let her out of jail. I can’t believe a sheriff even let her out of jail. I could understand if it was something like blood pressure., or something like that. But even with that there are a lot of people in jail whose blood pressure goes up. If it was anybody else, if we got sick in jail, then we would be sick in jail. She lives in my neighborhood. I see her all the time. She is just right up the street. I see her frequently. She’s not a bad person. She’s not an evil person or anything . She is just a spoiled brat. You almost can’t blame her. She only knows what she knows. That was her upbringing. That’s how they raised her.
They put her back in today. Now she has to go for 40 whole days, and be locked down for 40 whole days. She already had 5 days in. But lock down? Come on. If it was my son and he got picked up for drunken driving I would expect the judge to put him in jail for 40 days. I would want him to be put in jail for 40 days. I would drive him to the jail. I wish I would have talked to her before because this was a place where she could have been human, like all the rest of us humans. Ok, you are in jail. It’s a big inconvenience but that jail is nicer than a lot of people’s apartments. At worst, it’s a Best Western, or a Motel 3. It isn’t everything you want, but you aren’t going to die in it. There is no rack in there. It’s so silly. Now, she has to do the full 40 fucking days. And then she is going to get out and everyone is going to hate her fucking guts. This could have been a moment where she could have gotten enough sympathy doing the 22 days . Maybe they would have had a whole different attitude about her., maybe felt sorry for her….and she just fucking killed herself with this fucking thing. |

I optioned my show this week to a very, very big company. I optioned it to Jason Hervey, who played the older brother in the Wonder Years and Eric Bischoff. Their company is called Bischoff-Hervey Entertainment. They have a whole lot of projects right now. One is an amazing project with Scott Biao called "Scott Biao is 45 and single." It's really fucking funny. They got about 4 or 5 reality shows going on. |
On Eric the Midget:...
You know what Doc, that fucker truly is evil. He got like a mean thing going on . At first I thought he was kind of like doing a little acting but then you find out he isn’t acting. He really does feel like that. I’ve known a lot of people in my life, I’ve know a lot of bad people….that fucker if he could kill people and get away with it, he absolutely would and not even think twice. He would have been a great hitman. |
On the Sopranos:
Doc: What is your prediction on the Sopranos on Sunday? |
Johnny: I’m following it but I hate it. I’m watching it. The problem I got with the Sopranos is this:
They have been leading us up, and leading us up and leading us up for a whole fucking year on some of the things that could happen and now all of a sudden... what was the point of some of the things that happened earlier... I will tell you the thing that bothers me. when I hear people talk about how creative David Chase is I want to scream. The worst thing that ever happened in a mafia movie was in the Godfather when Michael killed his brother…on a boat. So now every time someone has to go on the Sopranos it has to do with a boat. There is nothing creative about that. Tony wanted to kill Paulie Walnuts, he was on a boat, they killed Big Pussy on a boat. That’s saying, it worked in the Godfather so we are going to make it work here. There’s nothing clever about that. Ok, so it was a different kind of a boat, big deal. You know? Kill them on a plane. Make it interesting. |
| Doc: The way they killed Christopher was pretty unique. |
| Johnny: Yeah, that was unique. He had a shot and he took it. I thought the little kid was going to go down, AJ. He might kill them all, and I’m not so sure that won’t happen on Sunday. You won’t see a bad person killing Tony, it might be AJ. |
| Doc: You know I liked Fred’s prediction that Paulie Walnuts might be playing both sides . |
Johnny: I can tell you right now he definitely is. How the hell does Bobby get that spot so fast after just being made 15 minutes ago . He could never have been Uncle Junior’s driver because he was never made.
You know what is weird. They introduce us to this family. What bothers me about the Sopranos, is I can watch this show and these people are not necessarily Italian. Could Tony Soprano be Hungarian or Armenian? Absolutely. I don’t get an Italian vibe off of the whole family. How about when Tony was talking to Bobby about his sister giving blowjobs. You ever hear an Italian guy talking like that about his sister? I haven’t. That is like a black guy talking about his mother. There are so many little things like that.
So they introduce us to this powerful, powerful mafia family and then all of a sudden they show how miniscule they are against the New York family. I think David Chase went too far. I think it’s a way to try and make Italians look bad. They are portraying Italians as dirty, stupid people.

| Doc: How would you like to see the show end? |
| Johnny: I would like to see the show end with Tony getting everybody, being the winner. But it’s not going to happen I don’t think. We have been watching the Sopranos for 7 years, and that guy did that to his daughter and you are going to tell me that he isn’t going to kill him? Never. No way. If you were an Italian guy that worked at John Deere and someone did that to his daughter, that guy is dead. That’s the only kind of Italians I know. To me they are just writing haphazardly, they are trying to get it over with. David Chase might be outthinking himself. They are trying to be clever. But you know what, I’m still watching it, and so are you. The difference is I can go back and watch the Godfather, and Good Fellows, or Casino , or Scarface. I don’t think I will have any desire to go back and revisit the Sopranos. I know I won’t. There is just too many stories lines. They started so many story lines that didn’t go anywhere. I would have liked to see AJ get tough. I guess we will see what happens. |
