 The
Howard Stern show is known to have hot strippers on from time
to time but lets face it, some are definitely hotter than
others. Sure Savanna Sampson, former Scores dancer and Britney
Spears look-a-like, is a home run every time she is on the
show but quite often fans are disappointed when the pics of
the NEW girls of their morning dreams are posted on Howard’s
website or when their shows air on E! "Damn, she sure
sounded hotter on the radio." Well. that is definitely
not the case with today’s featured shrine inductee,
Selena Valentine. Not only is Selena one of the most beautiful
strippers or exotic dancers as she prefers to be called, that
Howard has had on the show, she is also one of the smartest.
That might not be saying much but,  come
on, she wrote a book for God’s s ake: How
to date an Exotic Dancer--For Men who prefer Extraordinary
Women. After her appearance on the show, Selena showed
up on Howard’s
Bulletin Board, her name distinguished in orange, and
she began interacting with the fans. At one point she posted
her email address, selena@howtodateanexoticdancer.com.
I jotted down the address but didn’t send her an autograph
and interview request right away. No, I waited….reading
her posts…deciding. It wasn’t until I saw Selena
on E! did I finally contact her. WOW!! What a beauty!! Extraordinary
indeed and very deserving of inclusion into the shrine. Selena
wrote back a few days later and told me that she would love
to do an interview. She also sent me a high quality signed
8x10 photo in the mail free of charge. Very cool. |
| Doc:
Hi Selena. Thank you for granting me this interview. Tell
me a little about your recent appearance on the Stern show.
Was it what you expected? |
| Selena:
It was much better than I expected. I went in thinking he
was going to throw baloney at my ass or something. I have
seen some previous shows with exotic dancers and he and his
crew can get a little rough on them. I was pleasantly surprised
at how nice he and Robin were to me. |
| Doc:
Who was your favorite on the show? Anyone you didn’t
like? |
| Selena:
My favorites were Howard & Robin, of course. Artie threw
a lot of cheap shots at me, so I wasn’t too fond of
him, but…whatever. |
| Doc:
Any good behind the scenes stories you can share with us fans? |
| Selena:
After I finished the interview Howard and Robin both came
out and gave me hugs and wished me luck. It was so nice of
them. |
| Doc:
Did you get a whiff of Benjy? How would you describe his odor?

| Selena:
Sorry, Benjy wasn’t even around during my segment. |
| Doc:
You were a featured dancer for 6 years in several clubs throughout
the country. What do you consider the best club you have worked
in? |

 Selena:
By far, Scores. It is the classiest, has the most beautiful
dancers and I definitely made the most money there.
Doc:
How long did you dance there?
Selena:
About two years.
Doc:
What is Lonnie like to work for?
Selena:
Lonnie is fine. I didn’t interact with him too much
though. He would bring in celebrities and all and introduce
us but basically I just did my job there.
Doc:
You mentioned on the show you were moving to Canada. Did you
make the move yet?

| Selena:
No, I didn’t end up moving there. I did a one week appearance
on Naked News. I loved working with the people there and learned
a great deal but I’m an all American girl so I decided
to return to the States. |
| Doc:
Did you find a new boyfriend yet? |
| Selena:
I’m dating but I haven’t settled down yet to one
boyfriend. I’m seeing what is out there. I’m only
28, so I’m still enjoying myself. |
| Doc:
You said you dated 7 customers. What did these guys do to
get a date with you? |
| Selena:
They were all clean, well-groomed, gentle and friendly guys
that didn’t come on too strong and want to get me into
bed immediately. |
| Doc:
How long did you date each man? |
| Selena:
It varied from six months to two years and still continues
in some cases. |
| Doc:
Sex on the first date? |
| Selena:
I never have sex on the first date. I’m worth waiting
for, and guys know it. |
| Doc:
Did anyone of them turn into a good relationship? |
| Selena:
Oh, of course. One of them is my best friend and another is
a mentor. I love these guys! |
 Doc:
Besides buying your book and reading it what is the top advice
you can give to someone to get a date with an exotic dancer?
Selena:
Understand that it’s a job and not a lifestyle. Know
how the business works, because at the end of the day it is
a form of entertainment. You have to learn the art of approaching
her. Dancers are more suspicious and protective of themselves,
you have to know how to break down that barrier and get her
to trust you. Be the kind of guy she wants. There are certain
things a dancer looks for in a guy and certain guys they avoid.
Doc:
Do you miss dancing at all?
Selena:
I do miss it. I love the interaction with the guys, so I go
back once in a while. Dancing can be fun when you don’t
have to do it everyday. Anything in moderation is good.
Doc:
What kind of exercise or diet are you on to keep in such great
shape?
Selena:
I’m a vegetarian and have been for 5 years, so that
eliminates a lot of the junk in your body. I walk on the treadmill
once in a while but mostly I have been blessed with some good
genes.
Doc:
What is the worst experience you have ever had on stage? What
was the best?
Selena:
Well, falling has to be the most embarrassing thing, and you
have to get right back up there and pretend like nothing happened.
When I’m onstage with my friends having a blast, being
silly and playing with each other, it’s great. |

Any new projects or appearances coming up? |
| Selena:
My future plans include a national book signing tour and a
Q&A column entitled Ask Selena Valentine to be published
in an adult magazine near you. I am already hard at work on
my second book which will be a self-empowerment guide for
Exotic Dancers. |
