The Film School Dropout Interviews...

'Lingo' Co-Star Stacey Hayes!!
|
|
| These days, it's hard to find a good TV game show. That's what makes the cable network GSN's most popular show LINGO so much fun to watch. Hosted by the great Chuck Woolery, LINGO is a simple spelling game that is totally enthralling a classic TV kind of way. Of course, no good game show is quite complete without a sexy supermodel co-host. That is exactly where the stunning Stacey Hayes comes in. This energetic blonde bombshell is a big reason for LINGO'S continued success, and has won the show its highly-coveted young male following. Recently, Stacey fielded a few questions that I just had to ask her. |
| The Film School Dropout: You spent a good deal of your childhood shuttling back and forth between Britain and The United States. In your opinion, where is the better place to grow-up: London or Nebraska ? |
Stacey Hayes : Well Nebraska is a great place real down to earth and safe... London has all the action... |
| The Film School Dropout: For years, you were a competitive ice skater. How did you come to be involved in that sport? |
Stacey Hayes: My mum took me to an ice rink when I was 3 and I loved it from the get go! |
| The Film School Dropout: I was surprised to learn that you used to do stand-up gigs at famous clubs like The Comedy Store in L.A. Did you get a lot of laughs as a comedienne? |
Stacey Hayes: I had lots of wild characters, a dominatrix, a lesbian, my act was very outrageous. |
| The Film School Dropout: You did voice-overs for James Cameron's popular IMAX Titanic documentary, GHOSTS OF THE ABYS. What was it like working on that film? |
Stacey Hayes: Loved it! It was a great gig :) |
| The Film School Dropout: Recently, you found yourself strapped into the infamous “tickle chair” during your visit to The Howard Stern Show. What was that experience like? |
Stacey Hayes: Oh my, it was unreal. I thought I was gonna die! I had to go to the loo and I am so ticklish, it was unbearable! Howard was good at finding my ticklish spot! |
|
|
| The Film School Dropout: During your interview with Howard, you said that as a teenager, you had been both possessed by a demon and visited by aliens. For anyone who didn't hear the interview, can you go into a little more detail on all of that? |
Stacey Hayes: Trust me you don't wanna know :) It is a long, long but very true story! |
| The
Film School Dropout: LINGO is a really cool TV game show. How did you become the show's co-host? |
Stacey Hayes: I auditioned with many other hopefuls and I was the lucky one who was chosen. |
| The Film School Dropout: I always used to watch Chuck Woolery on LOVE CONNECTON and SCRABBLE when I was growing up. Were you a fan of Chuck's before landing a spot on LINGO? |
Stacey Hayes: Yes I always knew he was the best. |
| The Film School Dropout: You are about to be seen in the June 2005 issues of both STUFF and PLAYBOY. Which of the two photo spreads is your personal favorite? |
Stacey Hayes: You tell me :) |
| The Film School Dropout: Speaking of photographs, you sell autographed 8x10's on your website for five bucks! Of the four pictures that you offer, which one sells the best? |
Stacey Hayes: The bikini shot. I am about to release some more sexy shots for sale. |
| The Film School Dropout: You also have your own trading card, courtesy of the good folks at the Bench Warmer Company. How can your fans get their hands on one of these cards? |
Stacey Hayes: Yes I have 2 cards. E mail staceyoflingo@cs.com for info :) |
| The Film School Dropout: And finally, what can the world expect from Stacey Hayes in the future? |
Stacey Hayes: Just you wait, it is gonna be good :) |
