The Sopranos Finale

After about a month of dodging potential spoilers, I finally got to watch it the other day because I was still trying to catch up with the old episodes. What can I say about it that hasn't already been said? There's a guy who analyzed the the finale in his blog, he theorizes that Tony not only got whacked, he 'practically got a funeral'... If you don't have a spare half hour to read his entry, check out this link, where a writer for ABC pretty much summarizes the main points.

For example:

The first shot of the finale shows 'T' as if he was in a coffin...

This shot at the diner shows a Tony at the head of 'The Last Supper'...

And to backup the theory of a 'funeral', the family takes mass using onion rings..

Another note about the onion rings, Tony mentions that the the onion rings are 'the best in the state'. According to Mr. Harris, this is a direct reference to Tony's favorite scene in the Godfather where Michael Corleone murders a rival of his father shortly after the victim comments, 'try the veal, it's the best in the city'.

But don't take my word for it, read the article...
