I would personally like to thank the man who found Jim, an artist named Shane Pitts. According to his website, rodeoswest.com, Gerald Pitts and Jim's agent have been a "featured guest on over 200 talk live radio shows including Coast to Coast AM, presenting the former rock star and discussing the legend's current life as a American Cowboy who is now leading a quite life away from the Hollywood scene." The two have also "collaborated on VHS Video with interviews of the Poet in casual country settings." Isn't that great news!! We have new footage of Jim " singing to his Ol' Doors Tunes at the kitchen table on his Ranch." Holy shit!!! This is amazing stuff!! I can only imagine what that is like:

"Mother, I want to F*** You!!! Please pass the butter." And then later in the evening, Jim fires up the grill and invites some friends over including Tupac, Elvis & even R&B sensation Aliyah drops in for some ribs & corn on the cob.

But wait there's more. The VHS also contains Gerald and his friends talking about how they met Morrison. I'm guessing that it was either at the next Whiskey Bar or in the back of the Roadhouse where they got some bungaloes. But however it happened, it must be a truly amazing tale. Apparently Jim also explains his reasons for disapearing in Paris. It is explained that on the tape are three "motion film clips" of Jim. What this means I'm not sure. I hope it doesn't mean that we get to see Jim taking a dump or mowing the lawn.
