Thursday the US's highest court banned executions of the mentally ill, ruling it to be "cruel and unusual punishment," violating the Eighth Amendment to the Constitution. How in the hell are we supposed to catch and kill terrorists when we can't even electrocute a bunch of retards? This ruling helped a convicted murderer named Daryl Renard Atkins, who was scheduled to be put to death in Virginia. He killed an innocent man in 1996 for beer money.
