 It's
time for all Stern fans to come to the realization that Artie
Lange is the new Jokeman in town. Cease and desist with all
your talk about Jackie coming back and your whining about
how much better the show was when he was in the chair. In
case you didn't know, Lange is a real actor-comedian who starred
on The Norm Show, was a featured comic on Mad TV, and stars
in real movies (none of which has he played himself, see Jackie's
entry in the IMDB). When he does stand-up he tells jokes the
way they should be told instead of getting up there and telling
jokes you can get from a joke book.
Has Jackie ever been on Conan? No. Why? Because there is no
mass interest in Jackie outside of  the
Stern show. Take away the Stern show and the guy has nothing
to offer. If he is so talented, why haven't we heard anything
from him since he left? And not to mention that Artie's interests
lie primarily within the show. He has no CDs to sell, he doesn't
wear condoms on his fingers and best of all, he has good show
biz related stories to share.
Don't get me wrong though, I love Jackie as much as the next
guy. But most Stern fans are like old people, they have a
hard time adjusting to change. Kinda like my Grandpa when
gas pumps changed to computerized systems. So read em' and
weep Stern fans, Jackie is gone for good, and he is NEVER,
EVER coming back. HA HA HA So here's to my new hero Artie
Lange: Actor, Comedian, and future Stern show legend!! Good
