The American Idol Finale

• I missed the complete first half hour but why do I get the feeling that I didn't really miss anything?
• The wait until the announcement was pretty painful.
• I realized that Carrie Underwood isn't all that great but I love her version of 'Stand By You'.
• Reuben Studdard lost weight but I still don't understand why he won a couple years ago.
• Taylor Hicks also lost a lot of weight too but he is still ugly and he still sucks.
• Green Day proved once again that John Lennon's songs should be untouchable and off limits to cover versions.
• Kelly Clarkson is a great singer, probably the best ever heard on any season of AI and one of the best in the business.
• Wow, what a dream come true. Doug E Fresh & Blake on stage together beat boxing... NOT!!
• Bette Midler should consider seeking a permanent retirement. If I wanted to hear wind beneath my wings I would take a trip to the Holiday Inn and take a ride to the 15th floor. Too bad you can't have plastic surgery on your vocal chords.
• Randy dancing with the town drunk almost made me want to puke.
• Paula not only looked drunk but I'm guessing there were some prescription drugs as well as some illegal ones in her system. Thank god for her the season is over, she can now get all fucking wasted and nobody will care.
• Simon's chest hair made me want to puke the chili that was specially prepared for my AI Finale party.

Sirius Satellite Radio

I love my Sirius and it's a complete joy listening to the King of all Media uncensored. The 90s alternative/grunge is the best channel for music, I also like the old school rap channel as well. It brings me back memories of my childhood which I spent matriculating in an inner city school system. Although I would never go back to regular radio, I do have some complaints about Sirius.

• When I pull into a covered stall at a gas station or stuck in traffic under an overpass, I love a signal and it takes a couple seconds afterwards to gain it back.
• It seems like the channels play the same songs over and over again. With the tens-of-thousands of songs available in each genre, I find it unfathomable that I hear the same some on the same channel two days in a row.
• The Elvis channel is amazing but since I only know about 20-30 songs, only true Elvis fans can get into it because they fill it with obscure songs and performances with only a few recognizable songs once in a while.
• I hear DJs on the channels a lot. I don't need DJs, play fucking music damnit. Isn't this satellite? When I'm bumping in my JEEP I don't have time for a DJ interrupting the flow of music.
• Along with DJs, I don't need station identification crap between songs. Sirius comes with an on screen display so I know what channel I'm listening to and I know the title and artist. I notice it a lot on the 90s alternative channel. Some nitwit has to come on every once in a while and say, "90s alternative and Grunge" along with some lame attempt at humor. Again, play the fucking music and shut up. If I wanted to listen to people talking about the music I would flip to the gay FM dial.
• I got an account a long time ago so I could listen to Stern on the Internet. Then, when I bought my JEEP, it came with a free account. So I went to their website to cancel my original account but you can only cancel by calling a customer service rep. Such bullshit... Why can I sign up online but I can't cancel at the same place.
